As a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization, TJSL is dependent on our participating families to fill critical roles in order for our league to operate. Family members that volunteer on a team become eligible for a refund of their Family Volunteer Fee at the end of the season.
U06 Coaches
Assist a professional trainer during the one-hour sessions on Sunday afternoons
Distribute uniforms and send team emails
Requirements
Be at least 14 years of age
Complete a background check
Complete an online certification class
U07 Coaches
Manage a 4v4 scrimmage with another co-coach (subbing players, providing direction, encouraging players) on Sunday afternoons

U09-U16 Coaches
Run a weekly one-hour practice and manage the weekly game with a co-coach (most games are on Sunday afternoons)

U09-U16 Assistant to the Youth Coaches
Youth Coach(es) runs practices and manages games
Assistant to the Youth Coach attends all sessions (practices & games) and helps with players on the bench and sideline
